Buzludzha Monument is a colossal communist – brutalist structure located on Bulgaria’s Balkan mountains, 1441 meters above sea level.
It was built by the Bulgarian communist party as a giant symbol as well as a functional venue for the party most significant events. It was opened in 1981, but was abandoned following the communism collapse. Ever since it is gradually disappearing due to vandalism and climatic conditions.
